Particularly challenging is walking in the Troodos Mountains or on the Akamas peninsula, like a thump land that is traversed by some rocky trails. From Aphrodite Trail from hikers have spectacular views of oddly shaped rocks, limestone cliffs, cliffs that rise from the water. Both ways of Aphrodite and Adonis Trail Trail start at the Baths of Aphrodite, a natural grotto. On the other, is the western side of the peninsula there is a ravine, the ravine Avakas. It is worthwhile to Paphos from a jeep trip to make this natural wonder.

With financial support from the Cyprus Tourism Organization, the Department of Forestry 48 trails created, which run through with a total length of 200 km various island regions – from Cape Greco in the south to the Akamas peninsula in the west.
This carefully prepared through open areas with dense vegetation and interesting cultural monuments. They have occasionally gentle slopes and are generally circular walks, so that they can be used by all age groups. They are also well signposted.
